Rory Hohenstein

Rory Hohenstein was born in Washington D.C, USA, where he showed an early interest in Contemporary Dance. At the age of 12 he began his training at the Kirov Academy of Ballet before joining the company La Jeune Ballet de France in Paris. In 2000 he joined the San Francisco Ballet, where he was promoted to soloist dancer in 2006. He has danced leading roles from Choreographers such as William Forsythe, Mark Morris, Helgi Tomasson, Christopher Wheeldon, Wayne McGregor, Lar Lubovitch, Alexei Ratmansky and Davit Bintley. Besides his usual work as a ballet dancer, Rory Hohenstein has been chosen for the main role in the newest choreography by Wayne Robson. Wayne Robson is the choreographer for stars such as: Britney Spears, NSYNC, Usher, Pink and many others.

Since 2009 Rory Hohenstein is working as an "International Guest Principal".
